First of all its important too point out that you do not need Bluetooth or JSR-82 on your mobile to be able to use the DaysTo(go) program. They are required though if you wish to synchronize data between your mobile device and a PC running DaysTo(win).

Bluetooth

Bluetooth allows mobile devices to communicate with other devices without the use of cables. Bluetooth capabilities are pre-built into many of todays mobile phones and other mobile devices.

JSR-82

JSR-82 allows mobile Java programs, such as DaysTo(go), to access the Bluetooth facilities of the mobile device. JSR-82 is included with many mobile devices, but unfortunately, not all mobiles with Bluetooth have JSR-82. JSR-82 is specific to each mobile device and therefore if your mobile does not already come installed with it, it is unlikely that you will be able to obtain it for your device.

How will I know if my mobile device has JSR-82?

You may download and install DaysTo(go) onto your mobile device. If your mobile device does have Bluetooth and JSR-82 then the 'Sync with DaysTo(win)' option will be available on the main menu. If your mobile device does not contain either Bluetooth or JSR-82 then the first time that you run DaysTo(go) it will display an appropriate message to inform you that synchronize is not available. Additionally the 'Sync with DaysTo(win)' menu option will not be available.
